Job Description

Do you want to make a difference? If you are not already a trained guard, Securitas will cover your training before employment.

As a patrolling guard, your main task is to deliver safety to our customers – primarily at industries, offices, and workshops – by protecting property and buildings from fire, theft, and damage. Usually, you will manage the alarm systems and report using a computerized patrol information system. The work is independent and often perceived as free, but with great responsibility. Since we have several assignments in Jordbro, we would also like you to consider working stationary!

The working hours are scheduled at night starting around 18:00-06:00 on a 5/4 night shift schedule.

Requirements

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• B driver's license
• Trained guard with Vu1 and Vu2

Preferred if you

• Have worked with area surveillance tasks
• Have experience with patrol and response
• Good technical skills

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from the first year of high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns law compliance, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on collective agreements between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
